Aisha was the Program Coordinator for the Department of Infectious Diseases at South Carolina’s only comprehensive academic health science center.
Prior to her time in Infectious Disease research, Aisha spent several years as a Program Coordinator for the Department of Gastroenterology at the Medical University of South Carolina, with a focus in Crohn’s and IBD research.

Aisha is motivated by the power and importance of clinical research, and its importance and relevance to LuMind IDSC’s mission.

Building on her experience in clinical research, she will drive to create more research opportunities and information for people with Down syndrome and their families.
