Master of Science in Health Science with a Concentration in Clinical Research Administration from George Washington University, Washington, District of Columbia

Before joining LuMind IDSC, Angela was Head of Clinical Operations at Lupus Therapeutics, which involved managing the clinical trial network from both a strategic and tactical level, focusing on operations to improve the network’s quality and efficacy in the conduct of industry trials.

Prior to working in the lupus space, she was the Head of Clinical Operations at Akashi Therapeutics, a biotechnology firm created by patient foundations and focused on accelerating pediatric rare fibrotic diseases where Angela was responsible for leading clinical operations for their Phase I and II therapeutic programs. She was also instrumental in the development and oversight of an international academic clinical trial network, The Cooperative International Neuromuscular Research Group, a clinical trial consortium utilized by industry, biotech, and academic partners.

Angela thrives on the challenge of combining the scientific and business aspects of clinical research. Clinical research is where exciting breakthroughs come from.
